Orkney in Colour

Fields of buttercups in the sunshine. I keep Lottie on her lead as we walk down the fence line to the shore. There are several oystercatchers and a curlew nesting here, as well as various small brown birds, pipits and skylarks. Lots of rabbits too - very tempting for Lottie!

The white line on the other side of the bay is a lovely sandy beach. 

Days like this are special, we store the memories of them up and revisit them in the long dark days of winter!
