Penstemon

A day of heavy rain showers which the garden needed. I am pleased with how my Penstemon "Hidcote Pink" is doing. A friend gave me a small plant he had raised from  a cutting, last year, and it seems happy on our dry chalk soil. 
I spent some time  planning what  we are doing over the coming couple of weeks; I want to see my sister again before she returns to Australia Thursday week, but it's hard to fit in as she is travelling  around England  visiting friends and family.
