Memories

I don’t usually blip our dinners, I’m making an exception today as this is a meal with special memories. Broad beans, new potatoes and bacon was a much loved family dinner at this time out the year when I was growing up in Shropshire.

Now I grown my own beans and potatoes, just like dad did all those years ago, this is a very much looked forward to meal. It does t happen every year and beans and new potatoes don’t always coincide. They have this year.

Oh! And the bacon fat is drizzled over the beans and spuds.
