G went to school for the last time this term, so I got on with the ironing. (Yawn). A mundane chore which I am good at.

We've both had busy days at our desks through the afternoon, so it was good to venture out around sunset. G got the picture of the mosque, which is nearing completion, from her side of the car. From the road, it looks like it is in the middle of a roundabout, but it's not.

We went on to Afrina where G got treated to a falooda while I had a scoop of chocolate ice cream. We then walked along the jogging track of Jumeirah Open Beach. With 70% humidity, we didn't stay out too long.

Back home with a shawarma for me and M&S fish and chips for G!
