Book Tree

Have a seat, read a book, swap a book. Liverpool has a Literary Festival going on from today until 19 May. The programme is pretty impressive. They'd even managed to persuade James Herbert to come and talk, which sadly can't happen now for obvious reasons. But it's the little things like this book tree that I think are cool. People were curious and wanted to find out more about why it was there. I watched for a while as a couple of kids thumbed through the books and then put them back as though it was a library. Respect.
