Orange Peel Clematis …..

….. or to give it its botanical name Clematis Tangutica.

This clematis is growing, quite prolificly, on the wall just beside Pollok House and I see it every time I have to walk from the Riverside car park up to the House to get my free National Trust parking ticket.

It’s such a nuisance that the council will not recognise the NT sticker stuck on the windscreen. I believe that there have been a number of complaints so hope that the council will make some changes.

After the heavy rain during the night there were quite a number of puddles in Pollok Park and as you can see in the extra Poppy is just like a toddler and loves puddle paddling.
