2022 Sunday — Road Trip

We drove north this morning. We rolled out of our driveway at 7:00 a.m. and landed at our lavender house on the Central Coast at 11:52 after stopping 4 times. Mr. Fun’s doctor has him taking water pills, so the first half of the journey we made 3 potty stops.

Our final stop was 30 miles above Santa Barbara in the city of Buellton at McD's. They have a nice spot of lawn to walk the pups and they have bathrooms for us. I bought a big iced coffee and then slid into the driver's seat and drove us the final 70 minutes to Cayucos.

By then the morning overcast had lifted, so under a ceiling of cloud we could see the horizon. The ocean was dark blue and beautiful, and we were both delighted to be through with the road-trip.
