Passionflower

I had almost given up on the passionflower vines blooming this year since they kept getting longer and longer but would not get buds.  But in the last couple of days I have had two blooms.   Since they only last a day I was glad that I noticed this bud this morning when I watered. 

There was rain all around the area today and as usual it missed my yard!   I know that it rained hard less than a half mile away from my house but all we got were a few sprinkles.   Maybe we will get some this week as the weather people are calling for it but we just never know.  So humid!   And hot!
