Over 100 years old

Posting a letter this afternoon in this post box at Pecket Well, I got to thinking just how old it was.   The cypher identifies it as Edvard VII which dates it around 1905.   I wonder how many letters have dropped through that slot over the years, and how many coats of paints it's had.
