Wildfire

I heard on the news that there had been a fierce gorse fire on Calton Hill yesterday which took fire teams quite a few hours to extinguish. I went up the hill at lunch time for a look and saw the blackened remains of a fairly large section of the gorse. Shows how dry the weather has been of late. Despite a few showers now and again, the ground is tinder dry.
