Should have been garden time

Today's host for our weekly music-group meeting hadn't had us in his house for over two years, so it was a bit of a big thing for him to be hosting again. There were only three of us there, but we had a really enjoyable session anyway.

It's become a tradition for the host to offer a glass of wine after the session. I was tasked with checking outside to see if the weather was okay to allow us sit in the garden. I checked and reported back that it was, but we'd no sooner settled ourselves than a dark, threatening cloud blocked out the sun, the wind got really strong and spots of rain began to fall. A quick dash back inside led to fifteen minutes of chat to finish off the day. Disappointing on the weather front, but satisfying musically.
