Scotney Castle

A short drive from our accommodation to Scotney Castle. Fascinating place with a Castle and House. Good walk around the grounds and then the octagonal walled garden. Great place.

From here to one of the numerous vineyards in Kent, quite close to where we are staying in Marden. We walked around the extensive grounds on one of the planned walks. On conclusion, I tasted 3 of their wines. Very good. We will return later in the week for lunch. Sunshine for most of the day and a few spots of rain on the way back.
