Just another day
I know that Blipfoto is basically about 'What I did today', but I'm reluctant to put another glasshouse Blip in, so I've relegated it to an extra! All I will say is that I was looking forward to continuing with the staging construction, which has to be done inside the glasshouse as the completed article won't fit through the door, as the forecast, I thought, was for a wetter, cooler week making it difficult to work outside. Of course it was warm and sunny and quite hot under glass. Nuff said - I didn't enjoy crawling about getting stiff and sore so I'll leave the next stage until tomorrow.
My Blip today is of Tropaeolum speciosum, aka the Scotch Flame Flower. Common in west coast gardens - we had a lot of it at Arduaine - and quite hard to get rid of it it's not wanted. Strangely, it's quite hard to establish if you do want it! I bought this one at Torwood Garden Centre at Larbert when we were there for a family wedding last month. I still have to find a good place for it!
