Fudge Brownies

My son made them. I can't have any :(

Today I'm the proud recipient of two more job rejections.

It would be beautifully dramatic to say I'd lost count of the number I've collected. Unfortunately, the truth is that I have a meticulously organized spreadsheet tracking every application I've submitted. I can tell you precisely how many. Organization is one of my strengths. But apparently that, combined with a graduate degree, twenty years of career experience, technology and communication skills, plus fluency in two languages is inadequate for a full-time professional position in Germany.

On the bright side, one of my freelance gigs offered me another small contract today. But I think I'd rather just have the brownies.
