Delights of the area

After several hours of travelling to and from a grotto at Bagni Regina Giovanni, involving steep descents and ascents in 36 degree heat, carrying a picnic, to witness Italian youths launch themselves from rocky outcrops into a sea pool, in acts of bravado/foolhardiness, it was a relief to get back to Vico Equense for a last night of drinking and eating overlooking the harbour. The scenery here is amazing, but accessing the sea can be challenging unless you pay for sun beds on crowded rocky beaches.
