Hanging on

I took a walk into Lightwater Country Park today with just the big lens and extender (plus attached camera of course!) in the hope of some flora and fauna subjects.  

I found a meadowland area still dotted with orchids (extra), but the star of the show had to be this comma butterfly who had landed on a shrub next to one of the ponds. It was very breezy, but (s)he hung on giving me more than enough time to capture a picture between gusts.
