Wentworth Woodhouse

We met up with Harriet and George this afternoon at Wentworth Woodhouse.

The house, which was owned by a wealthy mining family has a chequered history and at times has been close to demolition.

In 1980 I attended a residential course here (see extra) - at the time the building was being used as the Lady Mabel College of Physical Education.
