Candy Striped Spider

I always wanted to use the Raynox 250 with my R1C1 set of lights, however the Raynox clip wouldn't fit on with the ringflash holder. I had given up on the idea until I found a brilliant guy on YouTube who put a video up about how to use Raynox 250 with a ringflash. I needed to buy step up rings to screw onto the Raynox then do this and do that (I had to watch that part of the video 3 times!!) and eventually I did it!!
Because the ring flashes are so close to your macro subject you do get a lot more blinky highlights than you ever would with the Cygnustech diffuser. The cygnustech diffuser is fabulous but to use that I need to use the big flash (Yongnuo) 968 which has a recycle time of about 3 hours (JOKE...but it is a long time). The R1C1 is far better for recycle time. To help combat the highlights I have stuffed kleenex tissues into the flash housings ;-) Its looking good so far and if I need any more diffusion then I simply add more tissue!
Voila......are you all keeping up with this?
I think you'll agree the Candy Striped Spider here is looking pretty good.
