Still standing

A bit of an analogy.

Woke up at a normal time. Fletch had slept through and the socks had stayed fastened on his paws.

We decided to go for a walk around the Abbey ruins again a) because  its very pleasant to stroll round there and b) there is plenty of soft grass for Fletchs paws. So far he appears to be walking normally but the paws are red. When hes in the house theyll be sprayed with the antiseptic spray, then socks back on again which deters him from licking them.

M is having to eat with great care and not looking forward to the fact that he may have to wait 3 weeks before he can see the dentist again.

We have decided that we are quite happy to have the rubber shower hose attachment on the bath taps, in fact it was easier to adjust and not too powerful.  After talks about adding this and rewiring that from the 'bathroom man' and looking at the cost of his suggested shower unit we decide to leave it.  It will save us a few hundred pounds, we arent using extra electricity and its less hassle and I could really do with less at the moment.
What a week but as Elton John said "I'm still standing"

Blip is of part of the Abbey ruins which are now permanently  propped up. The foundations were logs of oak and there is been a lot of work over the last few years to reinforce the foundations so the walls stay standing.
The metal is now becoming more of the same colour as the stone.
