Where I am standing is destined to be an absolute monstrosity of an apartment complex. A huge amphitheatre of high-rise flats, all looking over the pools, so horrible in the summer with all the screaming children playing. 

And they apparently have a sea view. Well if you are very tall and are on the top floor, you might catch a glimpse. Otherwise you'll just be looking into the windows of all the houses on the street opposite. 185,000 euros a pop? I don't think so.

All the people who own apartments in this block of Alborán Hills are in for several years of misery once work commences. Fortunately, I am on the other side.
