Lilium regale

This is the first flower to open, with four more on this stem, the other survivor has only two, and one has opened this afternoon. I will keep my eye open for the red lily beetle which is rather partial to these lilies.

Managed to get the lawn cut this morning, although grey clouds and the odd spot of rain threatened, and have spent this afternoon weeding. Still plenty more to do. I am amazed how much has grown in a couple of weeks away!
