Nice change.....

Got offered volunteered myself for a cheeky day off today. It was much needed really as I damaged my already gammy knee pretty badly so could have done with the recovery time. Was very nice to get the kids off to school and spend the morning relaxing with Mr F. It's times like this that I like his night/weekend working pattern. Means we can enjoy a peaceful day together midweek when the opportunity arises. We needed to take a trip over to Southport to look at a car so stopped briefly on the way back to take a stroll around this little marina near Ormskirk. The houseboats looked very pretty despite the grim skies and strong winds!!
