There should be no need for a pavement painted sign - cycling on the pavement is as illegal as using a mobile while driving, which is why we never see it happen...

But the - residents? - around Saughtonhall Drive Terrace have decided a couple of signs need sprayed on to the ground.

It would be pedantic to point out that in the UK a no cycling sign looks like this, though.
