Back on the canal beat

I was out on the towpath at eleven this morning to meet with a good friend who is an accomplished author. The purpose was to pass on to her a copy of my book, and accompany her along the towpath with her cute border terrier. It was nice to chat about writing and life in general. I'm beginning to like these windy, warm sunny days.
