Warblers galore ...

Bird group day today. We went to the garden of a Buddhist monastery. It was very blustery so most of the little birds were sensibly tucked away, but we saw chiffchaffs and willow warblers (which is what's in the photo)

I haven't yet completed a whole year as a bird spotter, so everything new is a challenge to learn .. and these flipping warblers seem tricky even for the experts. Luckily our leader is a whizz and knows his birdsong, even from the shortest snippet!
