Kirriereoch Hill

As forecast the weather was fine, but cloudy with mist on the hills in the morning. We decided to walk up Shalloch on Minnoch, a Corbett and a couple of other Donalds and Donald Tops. It was cloudy on top of the hill but as we walked north to a Donald top the cloud rose above the hill so when we got back we had a good view. We then walked south to Kirriereoch Hill, an unusual hill that is a Marilyn but not a Corbett as the drop is more than 150 meters but less than 152.4 (500 feet) that is needed to be a Corbett. It was here that the blip was taken looking to Merrick, Galloway’s highest hill.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a damp spider’s web.
