Midsummer dancing after 2 Corona years
The pic is from Laitikkala, Pälkäne. A local band is playing dance music. Traditional dance evening with old style dancing: walz, rock, tango, foxtrot and some finnish ones (I do not like how to call these in english) humppa, jenkka and letkajenkka.
I did not dance (not sure if my knees would cope, but hubby does not like dancing), and our daughter could not yet dance neither did grandmum.
But there was music and nice to meet people.
Earlier we had had all family gathered having midsummer day by grandmum's. This was the first day as our daughter could attend to anything after Covid disease, so we had her too with us today. A good day. Our son with the poodle left to home in the evening as the rest of us drove to the midsummer dancing. Of course we did not dance, but listened music and met people. My knees could maybe cope dancing, but hubby does not like to dance. Grandmum is still mourning (there is no official time for that) and our daughter really could not dance yet, after covid.
+29c sunny and bright
