Granite horse shoe

On Thursday I blipped our moat. Today I filled it with granite palisades. (It was still pretty warm, but only 27°C, so okay.)
The optical illusion due to the wide angle lens makes it look like a horse shoe. In reality the left and right ends go more or less straight backwards.
Next steps are digging moats to the back-end bases and from left to right behind these two. Then filling those parts also with granite and finally grouting the joints.
And then, of course, fill the pedestal :)
