Fresh Air

Kiera and Luke stayed with Rafi at the hospital last night as I had a meeting with the grants officer at home and Colin is back at work 4 days this week.
I had a phone call from Kiera saying 'You'll never guess what Rafi did in his physio session!' I thought he must have tried to stand up or something amazing like that, anyway she went on to tell me that he had punched Claire the physio in the face! Thankfully Claire was fine about it and said she'd had worse! Rafi is definitely able to let us know now when he's had enough. All those months of having awful things done to him when he had no way of letting us know what he was feeling, and no way of stopping anyone doing things to him.
After his session with Gail the teacher Kiera and Luke took him out to the botanical gardens for some fresh air which is where I met them with the girls after school. It was a lovely sunny day so perfect for a trip out. The gardens were beautiful with all the trees bursting into blossom and the spring flowers looking really fresh.
William and Deborah were at the hospital when we got back which was a nice end to a lovely afternoon.
