RSPB Ynys-Hir

Saturday 25th June 2022

Sadly it was time to set off home this morning. We started in glorious sunshine but travelled through small showers and torrential rain, changing every 20 mins or so. 

We chose RSPB Ynys-Hir for our lunch stop but hit torrential rain just before it. Thankfully it stopped as we arrived and we walked to the Marian hide, arriving just before the next shower. The shower soon stopped again and the sun came out. What a beautiful view for our picnic. The torrential rain started again just after we got in the car. 

It was a long journey home. I had another break at SueT's and then our holiday was over. What a fabulous week. Thanks Sue!
