Bubbles
We were the official babysitters to young Rafferty today whilst his parents had a well deserved day off to themselves. Emma left us a checklist and we more or less adhered to it. Highlight of the day was a trip to The Hive, the joint Worcester Council/Worcester University Centre comprising a library, the archives, a cafe and a baby/toddler play area. Raff was asleep when we arrived so we did the cafe first and had a coffee before he awoke and we took him to the play area where he had a good time playing with the bee shaped, and coloured, cushions and meeting other children.
His second highlight of the day was when we were home and Ann started up the bubble making machine. Raffy loved that.
We all survived the day without a crisis. It's been a long time since we looked after a baby, well over twenty years, but I guess you don't forget.
