The one with the funny fruit....

I have given up taking any kind of lunch to school, that requires any cooking, cutlery or time to sit down. So, fruit it is..... You can eat it on the go, in corridors, on duty or whilst doing revision with the little treasures who are now starting to panic about their exams.

Today I asked a year8 lad to do me a favour and get something from the office across my classroom. When my colleagues asked him who had sent him, he just said 'that teacher with the funny fruit, that looks like an apple but isn't.... '

I think he was referring to my - rather large - plum.... ;-)
