Hoist the Mainsail

Today it was the annual Round the Island Yacht Race. I can’t swim and hate water, unless it is warm! However this is always a spectacular sight. It was windy on shore and not very pleasant but I went for a look. With a good camera I could have photographed the long line of yachts which spread out as far as the eye could see. Around 1000 take part.
This isn’t great but is an unusual sight off the Bonchurch coast.
