Finished

I’ve gone back to a series I read 10 or more years ago. There’s been two more books written so I thought I’d start again as so much I can’t remember and actually get to read the ending! There’s 9 books in all and they’re all around 800+ pages - finished the first today so will get on with the 2nd and see if I can be a bit more speedy otherwise I'll be reading this series till the end of the year. 
One of my friends in the village has a young Ukrainian woman staying with her. I think she arrived last week. I admire people who have opened their homes to refugees and feel guilt that I haven't done it myself. There could be long and in depth blip around this but I don't want to delve into it. Anyway Vitaliia needed a bike so she could get around as Rachel isn't always available to take her. I have a bike that I've not used for donkey's years so gave it to her today. Just hope it functions safely.
