Suddenly the wheels are in motion

America is slowly becoming the least desired location in the world.

Increasing Gun violence; amendments to ensure that rather than stop weapons -everyone should be able to carry them. Removal of a woman’s fundamental right to decide what should happen with her body.

My son attended a Christian university in America; it was alway confusing to them that he could be so wholly decent (not holy) and NOT believe in God. It was assumed that we; his father and I must have brought him up in the Christian faith. Nope. Pair of atheists too.

What Christians fail to understand is that You don’t have to fear the reckoning to behave in a decent fashion; respect and love for your fellow humans (where they deserve it ) is all it takes.

I saw people with banners yesterday saying ‘thank you god’. They were thanking god for a decision made by people….. the same people who won’t do anything against gun violence.

Did you hear them asking god why he let the 19 children die last month at the hands of a child who had the ‘right’ to bear arms .

I have decided to not watch the news for the next week. Between the lunacy over there and the hypocrisy here; I’m better off with my knitting in Cosmo Cottage
