Trogir
The day started with a delicious breakfast at our b&b, at 7am. After packing up the bikes, we were on the road at 8.10, and the sun already felt hot. We tried to find a different route through the town, getting on the Eurobike route 9, it wasn’t marked anywhere, I just followed it on the Navi system. It did go on a few quieter roads, and for 200m a cycle lane!
We stopped for a break after 15km at the hotel where we stayed on the first night. First a juice, then a nice swim in the sea. There was a shower there too to rinse the salt off. We carried on to Trogir, and pushed the bikes around the tiny narrow streets of the old town, finding a little shady restaurant for lunch. At 2pm we boarded the beautiful wooden ship, San Snova, our home for the next week, the cabin is lovely and air conditioned, with en suite. Slowly we met the other guests, I think we’ll have great fun together cycling and cruising.
The tour guide gave us lots of info, then we set off to sea, after one hour, the anchor was dropped and the swimming ladder put in place. Had a lovely swim and tried SUP for the first time, great fun. We carried on to the town of Rogoznica, where we had a delicious dinner on board, then could have a walk around the town.
Cycling 30km, walking around Trogir and Rogoznica 4km, 2 swims and SUP.
