The Dude

The Dude has had a blip in my journal on several occasions.
His human was a very dear friend of mine who passed in February 2021.
His first blip appearance was upon his arrival in my friend's home.
When my friend passed the patient care manager in her long-term care home agreed to provide a new home for "The Dude".
I felt as though I'd lost two friends.
Fast forward to my bringing my Frenchie, Bali, to the Vet for immunizations today.
A gentleman sat next to me with a cat carrier, and I admired his beautiful cat wishing him well.
The owner told me his cat's name was "The Dude" and is 17 years old having been re-homed to him when an elderly person passed last year.
Can you imagine my joy to see this old friend once again!
Our trails cross and re-cross other important trails in this life.
What a treat!
