Beach day

Such a lovely day. We headed off to a cafe for lunch first then a short drive down to the beach. It was unusually quiet for a sunny day in June. It was very hot but pretty windy, dad and I had a quick swim. This evening S and I rode the bike down to the village hall to attend the midsummer ceilidh. She had an excellent time dancing with her crew of friends and I enjoyed the music and catching up with friends. It started pouring with rain so Cannon came and met us on his bike with waterproofs and we rode home together.
