Raindrops on Roses

Just as I had finished watering the pots the rain started and I beat a hasty retreat indoors. Don’t think there was enough rain to give the plants a decent drink….well I had to justify my efforts.

Took Jet for a walk  after the rain had passed overhead. Good job we took our waterproofs as another shower struck as we walked home. Then the sun came out and it is now a very pleasant evening.

Rather liked these roses enjoying the thirst quenching rain.

Thomas has just returned from a work trip to Madrid. Unfortunately he is now testing positive for Covid.
