Back blip

We have visited many islands around the UK, from the Scilly Isles to the Hebrides and the Northern Isles, but we had never been to the Isle of Man.  Actually I was taken for a day trip when I was wee but remember little about it, and the HG had never been.

So we decided to have a wee break there, and so today we are off..... we sailed from Heysham, and it is a journey of over three hours, but very pleasant as the sea was like glass.  Pass some gas rigs in the Irish Sea on the way and also a lot of wind turbines far out to sea.

Our hotel seems very good, we are impressed and I think we will have a good time here and looking forward to a bit of exploration of the island.  And after dinner we had some entertainment which was good.
