Getting a little fruity....

Much calmer day today.
Shame the weather has turned.
Met up and spent a while helping a new local DLSR user with their new camera and giving advice on how to capture macro. Not that I'm overly qualified but went through some of the basics of the lensed lens settings, focussing, aperture and flash as well as tuning some of the camera settings. 
Whizzed through some of the camera controls and display including histogram etc. 
Two pieces of advice. 1. Play and practice. 2. Change just one thing at a time, so, while doing that, you see what the impact of changes are and understand why. 
Ended up sheltering from showers under a weeping willow while we finished up. The third bit of advice then - don't get frustrated if things don't work.
