Derwentwater and Skiddaw from Manesty

Stevie the cat was attacked in the night, and looked very sore this morning. A trip to the vet and a full examination found two nasty wounds, necessitating general anaesthetic and stitches. 

Feeling glum, Deb & I took a walk round Manesty woods - and got the pic above, taken with a big stopper and a 0,3 ND grad, to smooth off the slight ripple in the water and balance the land and sky.

After lunch I met up with past Blipper Wild Cardinal (Will D to those who know him) and his wife, and walked Walla Crag and Bleaberry Fell, giving me an 11 mile total for the day.

Deb picked Stevie up at 5.30 - he's a bit subdued, but should be OK.
