World Book Day.

I bought a book at our local independent bookshop today and picked up a bookmark which gave eleven reasons to use a bookshop. Number eleven was 'We pay our taxes'! I wonder who they had in mind!
Combined with World Book Day this made me think of what we still want books for: References - look at all these lovely note. Pictures; information better presented in paper form; and of course looking and feeling beautiful. Yes, the technology is great but I reckon books are going to be with us for a long time yet!

Sorry about the standard of typing my screen is now so bad it is impossible to see what I am writing...or blipping come to that!
