New….

I spent some quiet time in the garden this morning, dead-heading the new plants and noticing lots of buds ready to open.

This evening I’ve been out there again and one of the buds has opened.

This morning a special friend shared the news that her husband passed away yesterday evening. Such sad news.

This afternoon our niece and nephew in Japan shared the news of the safe arrival of their first child. A daughter, Anna. Big Sis has a beautiful new granddaughter.

This afternoon I finally started a sewing job for J & A. They’ll be home from their holiday at the beginning of July but I’d delayed starting the task. It was good to make a start and was a good focus today.
