Amber

I take photos of Amber every day to send to her folks who are holidaying in Crete! Just so they can see she is fine and happy. She’s stayed here so many times now that I think they know she’s well settled.
We had a great walk in Hamilton wood this morning and around the fields. It was warm and sunny with only a slight breeze.
In the wood several times I caught the delicate scent of elderflowers wafting towards me. A good reminder to buy some sugar and lemons to make elderflower cordial.
The afternoon was spent reading and weeding in the sun.
We’re just back from a walk on the Coastal Path.
It’s been another quiet relaxing day - perfect.
