Hidden

A bit of an emergency blip, taken when leaving my mother’s house and garden today, after shopping, lunch and some help with watering the garden.
The flowers are looking too tired for a blip, and the grass is turning brown. It’s been way too dry and hot for weeks.

But the trees and shrubs are still green and they hide the house well. The roof on the rights belongs to a neighbour’s house; my mother’s terrace can’t be seen from the gate and driveway.

We are hoping for rain tonight and tomorrow. Fingers crossed…
