Rainbow of stitches

I am finding sewing quite hard at the mo as it makes me ache so much, but I keep soldiering on with quilting a quilt. However I took a break today and played with some of the very under used creative stitches on my sewing machine.

Really enjoyed exploring the different stitches and delving into my lovely stash of threads. The threads all behaved themselves - no breakages or fraying, obviously the right mix of bobbin thread and needle

This piece will be chopped up and turned into birthday cards - possibly a future blip!

Just realised this is my 500th blip wow!! I cannot believe it! This has sneaked up on me and I am totally unprepared. So apologies for not having a themed blip. A really big thank you to everyone who looks, comments, gives stars and fav's to my blips. You have all kept me blipping which has given me a daily challenge to photograph something. By doing this it has helped me to improve my photography skills and my knowledge of the cameras I use.
