Oh dear. This clearly rates a nest-building fail.

Whoever slapped this disheveled mess together last year was obviously a rank amateur! I have visions of the slovenly occupant being visited by avian social workers after deciding to take any hapless nestlings into their care. After all, how could any bird be expected to cope with the wretched living conditions evident in this sloppy concoction of twigs, bits of string, birthday balloon ribbons, and tufts of fluff?

Hopefully there will be a sturdier, better built nest nearby this year!
