Wednesday: Serendipitous

I went into the office today because I had a physical meeting……….which ended up being cancelled.  So I came home late morning and continued from there.

This poster is weirdly serendipitous.  It’s on my way to work - the odd thing is that it’s by ‘The General Idea’ whose exhibition we went to see just this last weekend.  Until then, I’d never heard of them and, yet, here they are again.

Today was a slightly stressful day for a couple of reasons.  

We’ve discovered that one of the routes we were exploring to get Barney to his next destination is no longer possible, so we’ve taken a step back on that.  We remain convinced it’s possible, we’re just trying to do it in a way that causes him, and therefore us, the least stress possible, so we’ve gone back to the drawing board.

The second stressful factor is that it’s getting to the stage where I should really be winding things up and extricating myself from future commitments as we’re not here much longer (little tease dropped there).  Despite that, something very big dropped on my desk today of a magnitude that I’m not quite equipped to deal with and, yet again, reminds me that this job is a bit out of my comfort zone……

I think an early night is needed and tomorrow we start again.
