First round of thunderstorms for the day. We need the rain (not sure aboit the mayhem though).

Speaking of mayhem: it looks like the latest platform around which the Republicans will rally is an anti gay platform… As the mom of two happily married gay kids, that scares the heck out of me. Thank god ine of them leaves in Canada.

Even though the politicians playing that angle might think it’s just an “easy” win for them, i just know that somewhere there is a (or even many) deranged individuals who were just waiting for that kind of ‘permission’ to act out. Im beyond angry and actually getting depressed…
